The Best Lifeguard In Malawi

I grew up in Mangochi, so the beach is nothing new to me. I, however, loved the Livingstonia beach because of the purple sands.

Pemphero and I met the last time I was at Livingstonia, and we really really had a blast.

He walked up behind me to where I was sitting. I did not see him approaching, and was pretty amused when I noticed him.

Fine Dining In Blantyre

Eating out in Blantyre is not an easy task. There are only a handful of marvelous (read acceptable) establishments scattered across the city and even fewer fine dining restaurants – 3 to be precise.

Personally, I feel décor and ambiance are what separate the fine from the casual, the environment must feel exclusive and the service must leave you with a sense of importance.

On top of Malawi in Mulanje Mountain, at 3002 metres above sea level is a placard with an epitaph in portuguese translating: Is it worth it?

It’s all worth it, if the soul is not small. It is an epitaph in honour of Gabriel Buchmann – a Brazilian national who died in July, 2009 as he retreated from climbing Sapitwa, the highest peak in Malawi.
